Furniture & Home Accessories
Room Swap Consignments previews each item and selects only the best quality furniture and decorator accessories. Furniture must be in good condition, clean, stylish and in demand by our buyers. Room Swap Consignments reserves the right to turn away any item. Consignors may bring their items or a photo of them directly to the store. The consignment period is for 60 days.
Pricing
Room Swap Consignments will price your items to provide buyers and sellers fair market value. It is our promise not to compromise the consigned price by accepting offers or "bargaining". The consigned item will be displayed in an appealing setting and offered for sale at fair market value determined by Room Swap Consignments. Room Swap Consignments does have a specific mark-down date which is at 30 days at a rate of 25%.
The consignor may pick-up any items remaining after the 60 day consignment period or donate the item to a charity of Room Swap Consignments choice. If the consignor would like to pick-up the remaining items they must have them picked-up within 3 days of the end of the consignment contract or they will automatically be donated to charity.
Payment
At Room Swap Consignments, our consignors receive 50% of the final selling price. Consignors are paid on the 15th of each month of the following month the item sells. Checks will be available for pick-up at the store.
Pick-up & Delivery Service
Room Swap Consignments does not offer pick-up or delivery of items. It is the responsibility of the consignor to bring the merchandise to the store. Room Swap Consignments may offer you a name to arrange pick-up or delivery. It is also the responsibility of the buyer to pick-up their merchandise within 48 hours of purchase.
No Returns or Exchanges
Room Swap Consignments has a "No Return Policy". Consignment shopping is different than traditional department store shopping in that all of the stock is on display at all times. The inventory consists of usually one-of-a-kind items, antiques, estate pieces and model home samples. Check each item carefully before you decide to purchase it. Room Swap Consignments tries hard to ensure that all merchandise is in nearly new condition but it is your responsibility to inspect each of your selections.
